Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all gift vouchers issued by Viyula Beauty Spa, whether purchased in-store or online. By purchasing or redeeming a gift voucher, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Expiry Period
Unless otherwise stated for specific exemptions (see Section 3), all gift vouchers purchased from Viyula Beauty Spa on or after 1 November 2019 are valid for a minimum of three (3) years from the date of purchase or issue.
2. Expiry Date & Fees
- The expiry date will be clearly displayed on each gift voucher.
- No post-purchase fees will be charged (e.g., fees for checking balance, maintenance fees).
3. Exemptions
The following types of vouchers are exempt from the minimum 3-year expiry period and may have different terms, which will be clearly communicated at the time of issue:
- Free promotional vouchers
- Discounted vouchers sold for less than their face value
- Vouchers issued for charitable or fundraising purposes
- Rechargeable gift cards
- Employee reward vouchers
- Vouchers for a limited-time event (e.g., tickets to a specific show date)
- Second-hand gift cards
4. Online Gift Vouchers
- The expiry period will be clearly stated (e.g., "Valid for 3 years from date of purchase").
- No post-purchase fees will be applied.
- All applicable terms and conditions will be listed clearly at the point of purchase.
5. Redemption
- Gift vouchers are redeemable for goods and/or services at Viyula Beauty Spa.
- Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Vouchers are non-refundable.
6. Lost or Stolen Vouchers
Treat your gift voucher like cash. Lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers will not be replaced or refunded.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, including the Australian Consumer Law, and the laws of the Northern Territory.
